Coding Manager Job Duties. Coding managers primarily deal with establishing policies and implementing changes, coordinating with other personnel managers and with physicians, reviewing departmental procedures, and evaluating the effectiveness of personnel.
Marketing Coordinator Responsibilities. Include: Conducting research to analyze customers’ behavior (e.g. purchasing habits, trends and preferences) Designing and implementing marketing campaigns. Setting up tracking systems for online marketing activities.
Manager of Codes
Are you looking to get involved in the development of building codes and standards for HVAC&R? Do you enjoy working with volunteers? Are you outgoing and diplomatic? ASHRAE seeks a Manager of Codes with a Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or similar technical degree with at least 3 to 5 years’ experience. Responsibilities include editing technical documents, overseeing draft standards through the development process, coordinating code activities, and managing project committees. Individuals with experience or knowledge in the development of consensus-based standards and codes are desired. Effective communication skills, good judgment and diplomacy are essential as this position interacts with outside committees and organizations. This position requires domestic travel approximately five to six times per year. A Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or similar technical degree is required.

Online Marketing Coordinator
ASHRAE, an international nonprofit engineering society, seeks a marketing coordinator to provide day-to-day support for the content needs of the ashrae.org website. The main responsibilities of this position are for the ASHRAE website (ashrae.org) and the Society’s app, ASHRAE 365. The coordinator will be responsible for daily updates to ashrae.org including seeking and (when needed) creating/curating relevant content for ASHRAE’s domestic and global audiences. A strong understanding of HTML is required for the position, however, this is not a web developer position. The position is approximately 75% website content posting and 25% working with ASHRAE’s app, although the percentages will change based on Society needs. The coordinator will ensure ashrae.org is up-to-date and that its content follows best practices. In addition, the coordinator will be responsible for select marketing promotions as well as assist with pertinent inquiries from staff, ASHRAE members and the interested public. While the primary focus of the position is on posting content to ashrae.org, the candidate may also be asked to support other communications and marketing initiatives. This position is responsible for creating and maintaining effective and positive front-facing experiences for members and nonmembers visiting ashrae.org and ASHRAE 365.
Five years’ experience posting content to websites and using a Content Management System is required. Enthusiasm, sense of urgency, strong work ethic, ability to multitask, and capacity to take initiative while also being an effective team member are necessary traits to excel in this position. College degree is required.
