ASHRAE, the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-conditioning Engineers, is the premier international body in the HVAC&R field and with more than 56,000 members from over 132 nations. ASHRAE is a diverse organization representing building system design and industrial processes professionals around the world. The Society and its members focus on building systems, energy efficiency, indoor air quality and sustainability within the industry. ASHRAE India Chapter (AIC) is the first and oldest of the ASHRAE Chapters in the country founded in the year March, 1990. It has more than 300 ASHRAE members located in North and Eastern India. The Indian chapters belong to Region-At-Large.
